On Road Artists

WHERE, WHO, WHAT?

Well, WHERE we are is On The Road again! WHO we are is the husband-wife artist team of M. Theresa Brown and Steve Filarsky!
WHAT we do is travel around the country attending art/craft and horse shows where we create Paintings in Oils and Pastels.
Theresa concentrates on the Fine Art Portraits of people and their animals and Steve can be seen around the show grounds creating his plein air Oil paintings of the ongoing activity on site.

Do we do this for a living? Yes! Our home base and studio are located outside of Raleigh, NC. But we can be seen in our Dodge van and camper traveling up and down the Interstates and side roads loaded down with art gear enroute to our various destinations.

Our mini farm in the country is home to 3 ponies, 2 goats, 5 dogs, a cat and a bird. Luckily we have great help at home while we are gone and bring along the smallest dog, Rosie, the Corgi.

Along the way we meet wonderful people and see some of the beautiful scenery of our country! Follow us on our adventures and be an On Road Artist!
