WHO, WHAT & WHERE

WHERE we are is On The Road again!

WHO we are is the husband-wife artist team of M. Theresa Brown and Steve Filarsky - Filarsky Brown Art Studio!

WHAT we do is travel around attending art/craft and horse shows where we create Paintings in Oils and Pastels.

Theresa concentrates on the Fine Art Portraits of people and their animals. She also dyes, prints and paints on silk, scarves, neckties and more

Steve can be seen around the show grounds creating his plein air Oil paintings of the ongoing activity on site. When not there he can painting anywhere from the coast to the mountains, on a city street or in our studio.
 
Do we do this for a living? Yes! Our home base and studio are located outside of Raleigh, NC. But we can be seen in our Ford van and camper traveling up and down the Interstates and side roads loaded down with art gear enroute to our various destinations.

Our mini farm in the country is home to two ponies, five dogs, and sixteen chickens. Luckily we have great help at home while we are gone and bring along the smallest dogs, Rosie, the Corgi and Louis the Cockapoo. (The Rottwieller and German Shorthaired Pointer stay home with Jessie our old mixed breed dog)
