Theresa is now in Wake Forest
In addition to our working studio at our home, Theresa has opened a studio/gallery in the Cotton Company
in Downtown Wake Forest, NC. You can visit her there, watch her work or
talk about your ideas for your portrait. While she is not there all the
time, her studio is always open during the Cotton Company's business
hours.
The Cotton Company is located at 306 South White St. Wake Forest NC.
The hours are Monday - Thursday, 10 - 6: Friday and Saturday, 10 - 8;
Sunday, 1 - 6. |

Come on out to our studio and see where we work! All summer Art
camps will be held at our location just north of Wake Forest. Our
workshops and private lessons are held both at our studio and in other
locations.
We offer something for everyone!
Whether you would love for your child to enjoy the “total art
experience” OR for you and your friends to enjoy a day outside
painting the beauties of nature OR one of us to sit down with you or
your child for a private lesson and work out the art problem you are
struggling with, we are available!
Summer Art Camps
TEEN ART BOOT CAMPS
These are taught by Theresa. She has provided art classes for children
and teens for years in both our studio and other locations. Some
of her students have continued their art education at Peace College,
Savannah College of Art and Design, East Carolina University and NC
State. You just don't know where your children's love of art will take
them!
The only art camp for teens with an emphasis on deeloping both art and art marketing skills!
We
offer a unique approach to not only learning more about the uses,
techniques and tips for creatin art with various mediums, but a honds
on practiacal approach to the real world of making a living as an
artist!
These special art "boot" camps for teens only begin at 10 am and end at
2 pm at our working studio outside Franklinton ( just above Wake Forest)
Session 1 (June 15 – 19, 2009) Teen (13-18) 10am -2pm
Session 3 (July 6 – 10, 2009) Teen (13-18) 10am -2pm
Session 5 (August 3 – 7, 2009) Teen (13-18) 10am -2pm
Cost of the 5 day Summer Art Camp is $175.00. Discount available for siblings!
All supplies are included. All created work goes home with your child.
A light snack will be provided but please pack a lunch and his or
her favorite drink! Breakfast is required fuel before arriving!
Feel free to bring you teen and
meet Theresa at her Wake Forest studio location at the Cotton Company
to view the galery or ask any additional questions. Even if she is not
there, the studio is open and available for viewing.

Workshops
Our plein air workshops are very popular and are taught all over the country!
A huge advantage of the workshops is that it “makes you
paint!” It's a fun time for artists of all abilities to join
together in a beautiful location and paint the surrounding scenery. A
group enhances that experience and brings artists together in
comraderie and motivation.
The sessions can vary from a half day to two full days and the cost to
participate varies according to the location and the length. Most are
taught in the field and on location.
Your investment for the workshops begins at $80 for a half day session.
These are taught by Steve, the plein air expert!
We do not post an actual schedule for these workshops as we work around
our art travels. Most of the workshops are word of mouth. An
artist has some friends who want to host a workshop, they contact
us and then we all work around the dates available!
When the workshops are local, we announce it in our website
schedule. Artists provide their own equipment and materials. We
post a supply list before a workshop. And then all you bring is your
enthusiasm!
Private Lessons
We do a lot of these! These lessons are designed for specific
needs of the requesting client. All ages are welcome. Most are taught
in our studio but we can also come to your home!
Lessons in mediums such as pencil, charcoal, watercolor, oils and
pastels are available as well as specific areas of interest.
Whether your interest is in painting landscapes, faces, animals or something specific, we can accommodate that request.
You'll invest $45.00 an hour for private lessons. 2 people together is
an $ 80.00 investment. Contact us here for more information!

following is our 2009 tentative schedule.
It is possible that our show schedule can change and we will be
attending shows not yet on this schedule. Please note that our schedule
has some changes from last year's itinerary. We will be traveling to
shows in Florida and California! We encourage you
to contact us to verify a particular date or keep checking back. For
those of you in the Raleigh, NC area, we can also be found through the
